Lors de la guerre contre les Andariens, Robert Melun travaillait à l'ambassade de France au Japon. Il fut gravement blessé lorsque les extraterrestres envahirent Tokyo. Il ne dut sa survie qu'à un clan de ninjas qui l'ont recueilli et fait de lui l'un des leurs. Il finit par les quitter et est devenu aujourd'hui tueur à gages.
